Flaconi GmbH is a German online mail order company for beauty products based in Berlin. The e-commerce company was founded in 2011 and has been part of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE since 2015.
History
Flaconi was founded in 2011 as a start-up by Björn Kolbmüller and Paul Schwarzenholz. Early investors included Benedict Rodenstock from Astutia Ventures.[3] In 2012, ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG (now ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE) joined as an investor, and Flaconi's first TV campaign was broadcast on their TV stations in the same year.[4] The complete takeover by the media company followed in 2015.[5] The Flaconi founders initially withdrew from the operational business and in May 2016 handed over control of the company completely to ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE.[6]
The range includes perfumes, care products, make-up, hair care, natural cosmetics, and accessories. In 2019, Flaconi's product portfolio comprised over 700 brands and 45,000 articles from international cosmetics manufacturers.[7] With the Flaconi Concept Store in Berlin-Mitte and two other branches, Flaconi is also represented in stationary retail.[8]
In 2017 Flaconi relocated its distribution center to northeast Berlin.[9] From 2021, the online mail order company plans to open a 28,000 square meter logistics center in Star Park near Halle (Saale), handle all of the logistics there and close the distribution warehouse in Berlin.[10]
Products
Flaconi offers products from the areas of perfume, skin care, make-up, hair care, natural cosmetics, and accessories. A total of around 55,000 products from 850 international brands are offered.[11]

Internationalization
In autumn 2018 Flaconi launched flaconi.at in Austria.[15] The German e-commerce company has also been represented in Poland with flaconi.pl since September 2019.[16]
