Flag of the President of Israel
The Flag (Standard) of the President of Israel (Hebrew: נס נשיא מדינת ישראל) is the official symbol of the President of Israel. It is used at buildings and on vehicles to denote the presence of the president.
The presidential standard has been in use since the establishment of the office of President of the State in 1949.
Design
The standard takes the shape of a perfect square. It consists of a dark blue field with a silver fringe, with the state emblem of Israel, coloured in silver, situated in the centre. The standard most commonly takes the form of a stiff cloth flag within a metal frame; however, it occasionally takes the form of a normal flag.
