Fletcher Cowan
Fletcher Cowan is a British TV personality, comedian and model. He has appeared on shows for BBC1, ITV1 and Channel 4. He is known for his cheeky and playful sense of humour.
As a model Fletcher has worked with brands including Burberry, Paul Smith, Aquascutum and Comme des Garçons. He's been featured in publications including Vanity Fair, I-D, Dazed and Confused, Vogue Living and The Sunday Times Style. He was recently also listed as one of Tatler’s most eligible men.
Early life
Fletcher was born in Cheshire before growing up predominantly in the Channel Islands. His family’s home is Thornton Manor, in Cheshire, where his father still resides. Thornton Manor is the ancestral home of Viscount Leverhulme and a place where The Queen Mother often stayed.
Fletcher attended Bedales School in Hampshire before studying a degree in fashion at Central St. Martins College. While still a student he assisted the late fashion icon Isabella Blow and his first internship was at British Vogue.
Modelling
At the age of 18 he was scouted by Models 1 and went on to work internationally as a male model. He has fronted major campaigns for L’Oréal Professional, Paul Smith and Aquascutum. He has worked extensively as a catwalk model in Paris, Milan and London.
Television
Fletcher started his presenting career as a YouTuber gaining millions of views for his comedic videos unearthing Britain’s strangest subcultures.
He went on to host for various online platforms including Vice, Don’t Panic and New Look.
On broadcast television he appeared as a co-host on season 2 of John Bishop’s Britain (BBC1, Friday 9pm) and the Dancing on Ice I-dent (ITV1, Friday and Saturday night).
In 2017 he hosted and Exec Produced the 6 part series How to be a Socialite on Channel 4. A comedic look into the weird and wonderful lives of British socialites. The series was split into episodes covering dating, fashion, work, health, parties and sport, within the socialite world.
Between 2017-2018 he hosted The Trending Show live on Hoxton Radio. A weekly pop culture news show that discussed topical news stories with a panel of celebrity guests.
Personal Life
Fletcher Cowan lives between London and Los Angeles with his partner, fashion executive Paul Price. Paul is the CEO of the fashion retailer Topshop.
