Flextone

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Flextone is a subgenre of Extratone. The term was invented by MG Mucus (formerly DJ Mucus). It is a compound of "Flexing" and "Tone" (an abbreviation for Extratone). The characteristics of this genre are fast changes in the pitch and a wide frequency range. The usage of samples is common, as well as distorting those extremely. Flextone sounds similar to Noise because it barely has a melody or rhythm.
