Flora Kathleen Sheffield Cassan (July 12, 1898 - December 26, 1968), professionally known as Flora Sheffield, was among the richest actresses of Hollywood born in England.[citation needed] She is mostly known for her two films Charley's Aunt (1930) and East Lynne (1931).

Life[edit]

Flora was born in London to Matthew Sheffield Cassan and Alice Mary Field. Matthew was Irish and Mary was English by birth . She was the elder sister of the actor Reginald Sheffield, and the aunt of actor Johnny Sheffield, Mary Alice Sheffield Cassan and Billy Sheffield.[1]
