Flurry Rush
Flurry Rush
The Flurry Rush, in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a counterattack move that occurs after the player performs a Perfect Dodge. After the Perfect Dodge, time slows down, then Link executes a series of successive hits on the targeted enemy, depending on the weapon used.[1]
Players can perform a Perfect Dodge by backflipping or hopping to the side moments before an enemy attack reaches Link. The player then presses Y repeatedly. (The flurry Rush can be aborted at any time, if the player ceases to press Y). The weapon used depends on the number of max hits dealt to the enemy by Link during a Flurry Rush.
One handed weapon - Up to seven hits
Two handed weapon - Up to four hits
Spear - Up to 11 hits
Flurry Rush Change
In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the animation of the flurry Rush is sped up slightly, but the number of hits and the way to execute a Flurry Rush did not change.
