Fochriw AFC

Fochriw AFC is a football club from Fochriw, South Wales.
The club was originally Fochriw Rising Sun and after some time in the Rhymney Valley League they progressed to the South Wales Senior League in 2000. In 2004 they became Fochriw AFC.[1]
They remained in the league across its two divisions until it merged into the South Wales Alliance League in 2015, the highlight of their time in the SWSL being the 2011/12 Division Two title. They joined the new SWAL and folded during the 2016/17 season.[2]
