Fong Minh (方 明, * July 28, 1954, in Saigon, Vietnam) is a Taiwanese-born French writer and poet.

Fong Minh was born on July 28, 1954, in Saigon where he grew up. He studied economics at Taiwan National University. After graduating, he decided to settle in France because of his enthusiasm for the French language and culture. In Paris, he studied business administration and literature at the University of Paris. Fong is currently the managing director of a company in Paris and Taipei.[1]
Fong has been interested in literature since childhood. He started writing while studying in Saigon. Fong is the founder and owner of the Fong Minh Poet House (方明詩屋) since 2003, a venue for encounters between poets and the home of a private collection of poetry works in Taipei. The collection comprises books, letters and manuscripts from prominent poets such as Yang Mu, Yu Kwang-chung, Luo Fu (poet), Bai Xianyong and François Cheng etc. It is shown in temporary exhibitions.
In 2015 Fong founded the Chinese-language magazine Liang An Shi (兩岸詩), of which he is the editor and publishing director. In 2017 he was selected by the Guangming Daily newspaper (光明日報) as one of the top 100 Chinese poets.[2][3] Fong is a member of the Association of Chinese language writers in Europe (欧洲华文作家协会).[4]
