For Art's Sake is a high-design fashion accessory brand founded by couple Xiwen Zhang and Yannis Makridis in London, United Kingdom in 2016.[1] Specialising in fashion-forward handmade eyewear and boasting feminine silhouettes,[2] the brand is renowned for its playful, detail-oriented yet bold design approach which led to its distribution at over 500 retailers worldwide, including Harvey Nichols, Saks Fifth Avenue, Net-A-Porter and Lane Crawford. [3] The brand showed at London Fashion Week.[4]

Retail Spaces

For Art's Sake opened its first stand-alone store in Covent Garden's Market Building in December 2018. The space is decorated with blue velvet-covered furniture that matches the For Art's Sake packaging that comes with every purchase.[5] In December 2018, the brand also opened its second retail space in Shanghai Xintiandi.[6]
