For Sentimental Reasons (band)
For Sentimental Reasons is an American nostalgia band that usually performs as a sextet of three men and three women. The women sometimes adopt the style of The Andrews Sisters, each wearing a red, white, or blue dress. They typically play songs from the World War II era, often at reunions of war veterans. They have performed at venues across the USA and Costa Rica, sometimes on ships or military bases associated with the war years.
Formed in 1994, For Sentimental Reasons chose 1944 (fifty years earlier) as a pivotal year for their selection of songs and material.
