Reception
Larry Dean Miles of Black Monday gave Forced Cranial Removal a mixed reception, commending the songs by Acumen, Insight 23, Ipecac Loop and Oxygiene 23 while criticizing To Live and Shave in L.A.'s contribution.[5] Sonic Boom said, "This compilation covers such a wide variety of talent and genre that it should be able to appeal to just about everyone and "If Forced Cranial Removal doesn't place Fifth Colvmn as one of the forefront of U.S. independent music labels than nothing else can."[6]
