Forrie J. Smith (born March 8th, 1959) is an American actor best known for his role as Lloyd Pierce in Paramount Network's drama series Yellowstone.[1] Before his success in Yellowstone, Smith was known for acting roles such as Pony Deal in Tombstone and for his work as a stuntman on various films such as Rambo III and Lightning Jack.

Life and Career[edit]

Smith's early career was riding in various rodeos, until his friends encouraged him to try acting. At his first casting call, they needed someone who could lasso someone from a roof and Smith was the only person who had brought a long enough rope.[2] After that Smith began mostly doing stuntwork that involved riding horses along with small roles like that of Pony Deal in Tombstone .

The younger version of Smith's character Lloyd in Yellowstone is played by his son Forrest.[3]
