Fort Bragg Stadium in 2016.

Fort Bragg Stadium was a temporary baseball stadium located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. On July 3, 2016, the Miami Marlins and Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball's (MLB) National League played a regular season game at the stadium. It was the first MLB game on an active military base. In addition, the game was the first MLB regular season game ever held in the state of North Carolina.[1] The ballpark was built on a disused golf course and seated 12,500 fans for the game. The Marlins defeated the Braves 5–2, which was broadcast on Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN.[2]

Following the conclusion of the game, the grandstands and other facilities were removed, and the field was converted into a multi-use sporting ground.[3]
