Fortunes. are an Australian R&B duo from Melbourne. The duo formed in 2015 and is made up of Conor McCabe (vocals) and Barnaby Mathews (samplers, keyboards, synthesisers, production).[1] Conor and Barnaby went to high school together in New Zealand and reconnected 10 years later at a party in Melbourne before forming Fortunes..[2] Their lyrics reference love, friendship, freedom, parties, clothes, and haircuts.[3]
