"Fourth Grade" is the eleventh episode of the fourth season of South Park and is the twelfth produced of Comedy Central's animated television series South Park, and its 59th overall episode. It originally aired on November 8, 2000. The episode is the transition for the characters from third grade to fourth grade, where they do not like their new teacher, Ms. Choksondik.
Plot[edit]
The boys are about to start their first day of fourth grade, and they plan to prank their teacher by everyone jumping on their desks at 8:35am, and pulling down their pants and screaming "kiss my ass!". But, after they meet their new teacher, Ms. Choksondik, they are all afraid because of how strict she is. Alone, Cartman does the boys plan mentioned earlier. Later on, the kids realize that 4th grade sucks, and how they took advantage of 3rd grade. They decide to seek advice from two Star Trek fans to ask them to make a time machine to go back to third grade. The nerds built a device that is used through Timmy's wheelchair.
At South Park Elementary, the teachers do not like Ms. Choksondik, like the students, and they are disgusted when she lifts up her shirt and her extremely saggy breasts are viewable. Ms. Choksondik comes to talk to Principal Victoria about how bad her students behave, and ask how their old teacher, Mr. Garrison, dealt with them. Chef reveals that Mr. Garrison went crazy after being fired for trying to solicit sex from Cartman a few episodes ago. He then went crazy after writing a homosexual romance novel and won a Gay Pulitzer Prize for it. The next day, the kids plan on how they are going to go back to 3rd grade. They turn on the wheelchair to go back in time, but it doesn't work and Timmy's wheelchair starts going very fast and breaks through the wall and is unstoppable. He may not stop the wheelchair because it would explode, and cannot get off of it either for the same reason. Kenny attempts to stop the device, but is killed in the process. Timmy eventually reaches a portal to the pre-historic era.
Ms. Choksondik goes searching for Mr. Garrison and finds him in a cave. He trains Ms. Choksondik to learn how to deal with the children. Ms. Choksondik eventually explains to the children that it is pointless to try to relive the past and to go on with the future. The children realize Ms. Choksondik is right and realize that 3rd grade wasn't that great after all. They all decide to settle with being in 4th grade, when Timmy appears with some souvenirs from the pre-historic era. Mr. Garrison comes to Principal Victoria, Chef, and Mr. Mackey and reveals that he is indeed homosexual, only to be met with laughter.
