Frances Gillett (born July 31, 1941) was born in Cambridgeshire, England (UK). She was diagnosed with Down Syndrome, and is claimed to be the oldest person with Down Syndrome in the United Kingdom, since the life expectancy for people with the condition is between 50 and 60 years.
Gillett also developed a range of other health problems, including a twelve-year battle with breast cancer, and a diagnosis of tuberculosis.
She currently resides in her home in Ely, Cambridgeshire.[1][2]
