Francesc Repiso Romero (born 27 January 1964 in Sant Julià de Lòria) is an Andorran model and former sport shooter.[2][3] He represented Andorra in trap shooting at the 2004 Summer Olympics, finishing in last place out of thirty-five shooters. Repiso was a member of La Rabassa Shooting Club in Andorra la Vella.[1] He is based in Catalonia in Spain.[4][5]

Sport shooting[edit]

Repiso began competing in sport shooting when he was 14,[6] having been interested in guns since he was young.[3] He was Andorran champion for many years[3] and qualified for the Andorran squad, as the oldest athlete (aged 40), in the men's trap at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens after having accepted a wildcard entry invitation from the International Shooting Sport Federation.[1][7][8] Though at one point he recalled he was in the top 6,[5] he hit 106 out of 125 targets to round out the field in last place out of thirty-five shooters, failing to advance to the final.[9]

At his peak, Repiso was ranked 36th in the world, and competed in World and European Championships and the Mediterranean Games.[3] He has suffered hearing loss due to his sport.[6]

Later life[edit]

Repiso founded and owns the sunglasses brand Lotus,[3][10] and has worked as a professional model. In 2023, he took part in MasterChef in Spain, having been a self-taught cook when preparing meals for his four children and expressing a desire to become a professional chef.[3]
