Frank Coffey
Frank Marion Coffey was an American jurist. He was the presiding judge of the Nebraska compensation court.[1] for several years, and was President of the Lincoln typographical union[2]. He assisted in the preparation of the laws that later became the compensation act, and assisted in the creation of the workmen's compensation court and became its first presiding judge in 1935. He was also the president of the Nebraska State Federation of Labor[3]
Biography
Frank Marion Coffey was born on the 19th of November, 1869, in Cedar County, Iowa. His parents were Thomas Coffey, and Mary Wilford, a descendant of Mary Campbell. He died in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, in 1948.[4]
