Frank Washington
Frank Washington (born December 27, 1947) is an African-American entrepreneur. He is currently founder and CEO of Crossings TV and the owner of Moonshot Communications.

Washington was born on December 27, 1947 in Washington D.C. Washington graduated from Cornell University School of Industrial Labor and Labor Relations in 1971 and from Yale University Law School in 1974.
Media[edit]
In 1976, Washington joined the Carter White House to work on communications policies for the Domestic Policy Council, implementing minority ownership in the communications field. He served as the Deputy Chief of the Federal Communications Commission Broadcast Bureau (FCC). IN 1981, Washington became VP of Time Mirror Company and took a vital role in the development of Videotex America, a precursor to the internet.
Washington also served as President and CEO of System Integrators, Inc, the provider of publishing solutions for a third of the world's major newspaper publications. He was also a founding partner of Aurora Communications, a multi-market radio group.
Washington also played a key role in the creation of low-power television service to bridge the gap between media and under-served ethnic groups.
Crossings TV[edit]
Washington founded Crossings TV in 2005 to serve underrepresented groups in Sacramento, including the Russian and Hmong communities. Crossings TV was found with the purpose of bringing a voice to these underrepresented communities in media and entertainment.
