Fratres is a recruitment website specializing in online job searching. Headquartered in London, Fratres has offices in London, Dubai and Islamabad and provided its services mainly in English.
The website is an example of vertical search. As of 2019 Fratres is one of the popular employment websites in the Pakistan according to alexa.com.[3]
The site displays listings from hundreds of employment agencies (recruitment consultants), direct employers, ad agencies, staffing firms and associations.
History and Milestones[edit]
After its incorporation in February 2014[4], Fratres decided to build a rough job website, to post job openings, many other companies contacted Fratres to post their companies/products ads to his website, Fratres agreed to post their ads free of cost to help boost Fratres's traffic. He then offered the largest companies the ability to search for CVs, as well as software to power their own company job boards and the right to post their logos on the front page of his new site. Hit was named Fratres a Latin language word, which means "Brothers".
Fratres launched its portal in Pakistan on February 4, 2019 and the first version of the website had 860 jobs, which were posted free. Reviews of business magazines, newspaper and word-of-mouth followed. Jobseekers learnt job search on Fratres was free, and soon more people started logging in. Traffic on Fratres slowly and steadily increased.
