Career[edit]

Freddie has produced, engineered and performed on records by artists on both major and independent labels.[1] From 1997 to 2008 he recorded and toured as lead guitarist with New York songwriter Patti Rothberg and produced, engineered, and contributed guitar and bass to her 2002 release Candelabra Cadabra[2] and her 2008 release Double Standards.[3] Other artists he's worked with include Percy Jones (Brand X bassist for whom he engineered a solo album, MJ-12),[4] Warren Cuccurullo (Missing Persons, Duran Duran).[5] He appeared with English guitarist Chris Spedding at New York's Bottom Line in December 2000, playing second guitar.[6] More recently he produced, engineered and co-wrote Fabienne Shine’s (lead singer of the French metal band Shakin’ Street) solo album, Don't Tell Me How To Shake It,[7] which led to a Shakin’ Street reunion tour of France in January of 2019. He’s also produced and engineered three EPs for New York band The Carvels,[8] [9] [10] as well as their live album, Live at the Cutting Room.[11]

Other projects include composing and recording ambient music for The Scientist, Jon Torn’s multimedia theater piece about John C. Lillie’s experiments with flotation tanks.[12]

He currently lives in Hell's Kitchen, New York City where he runs his project recording studio, Sierra Sound.
