Frederick L. Frazier (January 27, 1880 – June 14, 1993) was the world's oldest man for one and a half years, from the death of fellow American James Wiggins on October 16, 1991 until his own death in 1993. Frazier was the first man confirmed to reach age 113 (in 1993). He is the oldest man ever born in Alabama, and was the oldest verified undisputed man ever until the start of 1996, when fellow American Christian Mortensen (who was born in Denmark) surpassed him. He remained the United States's oldest verified native-born man until Johnson Parks surpassed him in 1998.
