Free News – is an American news website that publishes news, opinions, consumer advice, ratings, and analysis. Founded in 2018 by Ivan Maltsev and Alexandr Ivanov. The news agency is aimed at objective coverage of world events and a plausible presentation of information. It is now an authoritative news source recognized by Google News.[1]. News from major media outlets[2][3][4][5] are also featured on Free News. The official slogan of Free News is "Be Ahead, Be Informed, Be Free."
History
Free News was created in June 2018 to cover current events, including foreign and domestic political activities of the United States and major global political affairs. By the end of the year, the publishing house expanded its news categories. This decision led to the site publishing news about science and technology. In early 2019, several new writers joined, increasing the number of news items and covering more topics in world politics and scientific research. In June 2019, the site underwent a redesign for a more user-friendly experience.
In November 2019, Google News recognized Free News as an authoritative and reliable source.
Later that year, the site expanded to include sports and entertainment news.
In 2020, a new, more recognizable logo was developed and implemented, replacing the previous logo.[6]
In December 2020, Free News launched a new mobile site.
Free News is committed to improving the quality of its content to engage readers. Various media[7][8][9] and news agencies[10] use Free News as a reliable source of daily news.[11] As a result, Free News gained popularity among educational institutions[12][13] and scientific research centers[14][15][16] worldwide.
