Frenz United Football Club (FUFC) is a Malaysian football club located in Malacca City. Frenz United is the country's first Professional Football Club with Academy for professional footballers. The club is trying to conceive, promote and implement game-changing excellence in football that is enabling an entire generation of highly skilled, disciplined and competent individuals.[1]
History
Frenz United was founded in 2012 and is committed to strengthening the football culture in Malaysia, to ensure that various stakeholders understand the football potential has to offer as a means to achieve their own objectives. Their first base is in Janda Baik, Pahang before moving to Malacca as another base for their academy.[2]
In January 2016, Johor Darul Ta'zim football club bought a 50 percent stake in the club in order to strengthen the youth development program.[3]
Colours and badge
Frenz United's colours are black, white and a bit of red.
The Frenz United badge has a dragon symbol.
Stadium
Frenz United plays their home matches currently in Hang Tuah Stadium located in Malacca City.[4]
Supporters
Frenz United fans are generally considered as casual as the team is mostly an academy team where most fans will support during the tournament held by the club.[5]
