Furendorīwārudo (フレンドリーワールド, With Mother) is a Canadian-Japanese children's television program airing weekday mornings in Japan on NHK Two. The show consists of seasonal songs, the Fantong! segment, and animated shorts like Tomodachi no ressun (友達のレッスン). The short-running program was first broadcast in 2025 and celebrated its 1st anniversary in 2026.

Characters

• Friend Hill - The main character of the Friend channel. In the past, she lost her voice to a witch and can no longer speak. However, her friends can understand her through her actions and such. Later, in the episode 'Hi, I'm Friend... and this is my voice', she successfully regained her voice and is now able to speak normally. He has a basically good personality and helps his friends and animals in various ways. However, he sometimes becomes careless, such as when he receives the Love Bow and Arrow and shoots it openly while Doctor L tells him to be careful, and he often suffers when situations turn out strangely wrong. His family consists of his mother and younger sister. His mother is quiet like a friend, and his younger sister can speak normally, but she has superpowers. She came to celebrate his birthday and almost destroyed the server, but then restored it.
• Ava Bennett - A female rabbit who first appeared in the episode 'Getting Married to my YANDERE in Minecraft!'. At first, she showed an innocent side, such as cheering on Avery and Friend when she first entered the server, but Friend fell in love with her at first sight, and in the episode 'Friend has a SECRET ADMIRER in Minecraft!', she confessed her feelings to Friend and they successfully started dating. They are very, very close, and there are occasional engagement scenes as Friend's girlfriend. Normally, rabbits are raised, but the potions are surprisingly well handled. But she also can't cook well.
• Paul Öhrwall - Paul is the resident musician within their server's awareness, and is Friend's older brother.
• Tycer Williams - He has goggles on his forehead and is wearing a red hoodie. He may seem like he's prone to terrorism, like TNT, but he just likes to play pranks and is Friend's best friend. In the early videos, Friend's appearance was simply Steve, so he himself appeared as the main character in the thumbnail, making him a character that has been with the history of the situation comedy series. He also likes adventures, so he wanders around and sometimes causes trouble by touching the wrong curse.
• Doctor Luke - He first appeared in the episode 'My FRIENDS Become YANDERES In Minecraft!' and is a doctor with green hair and a gown. He wears glasses and, as his name suggests, he is quite smart and does many things that can be used as material for videos, such as inventing machines and making potions.
• Luna Ulliac - 'Transforming Into Kissy Missy in Minecraft!' First appearance on the side. He always helped him to study how much he had a crush on Dr. L. Anyway, Thai is the next friend of Friend. The character design itself hasn't changed much, but it seems to have changed to a big sister compared to the beginning.
• Avery Griffin - She made her first appearance in the episode 'Becoming M3GAN In Minecraft!'. She is a demon woman with horns on her head. In the very beginning, she was actually a normal person, but in the early video content, Amber, who had been in the yandere position, suddenly lost her role and took over the yandere position. She wooed her friend for about 4~5 months in the yandere position, but of course, her friend was disgusted, and in the end, when Ava appeared, she effectively became the defeated heroine. She didn't appear for a while and then made a surprise return in the episode 'My YANDERE Kidnapped my CRUSH in Minecraft!'. With Tycer slowly making a dash for her, a new love line is being created.
• Maya Schultz - Appeared as one of the friends in the early Friend videos. At first, he was just plain, but when he appeared occasionally in 2023, his design changed to a much more modern one.
• James "Jax" Rzeznik - First appeared in the episode 'Using the MORPH MOD to SNEAK into Secret BASES In Minecraft!'. He wears orange clothes and has a bad personality, always disliking his friends and trying to keep them in check, acting as a rival and villain, and the arch-enemy. She always gets treated badly, but she secretly appears among the men, to the extent that she is a bad friend. She gets along well with Tycer in particular. He loves gold and treasures it by stacking dozens of blocks in his vault, but he always ends up having it stolen or thrown into lava.
• Emily Belhadj - As the only female character with dark skin, at first I thought she was just one of my friends, but I took on a disadvantageous position to hide my feelings of liking her. Afterwards, Jax took over the unfavorable position. However, unlike Jax, who turned Jax's house into a creeper in a video that revealed Jax's past and his past activities on a previous server, he appeared as having contributed to the distortion of Jax's personality by blowing up Jax's house, saying that he was better at pranks, or mocking and bullying Jax several times for wanting a rival, and appearing in videos that needed a lot of female characters. Unlike other supporting characters, his frequency of appearances increased and he actually became the main character.
• Violet Esbjörn - Fourth dimension, a female wearing dark purple clothes. Although he had quite an unusual character, such as being well-versed in the occult and solving cases through witchcraft, he quietly left the role for a while. However, it appears that the production team has not forgotten, as he occasionally appears as the author of a book on how to survive in ghost-related episodes. He successfully made a comeback by changing his skin to a face with black long hair covering his eyes, and is appearing in videos that require a lot of female characters, such as ONE BOY at an ALL YANDERE School!
• Amber Trịnh - She appeared as one of the friends in the early Friend videos. She is characterized by her orange and pink hair, and usually she was just a female character, but later on, her design was completely changed, with orange hair, a pumpkin on her chest, a witch's hat, and she could make potions or take on the role of a yandere. However, since the yandere gimmick went to Avery and the potion gimmick went to Ava, she effectively lost all of her gimmicks, so she quietly left the show.
• Moe Dubois - A female character with a slightly boyish voice. She was in the official couple position from the beginning, dating Natsu. She likes flowers and has a violent side, such as pulling out a chainsaw when she gets upset. In the My Best Friends BROKE UP in Minecraft! episode, they had a big fight and almost broke up, but they got back together and left the server, saying they would start anew.
• Jordan White - A friend who was playing with a friend in the early footage. They made considerable progress, such as showing affection and even kissing, but they left shortly after.
• Natsu Jones - He played the male role with Tycer and Dr. L on the Friends channel. He cherishes sheep. In the episode My Best Friends BROKE UP in Minecraft!, they had a huge fight and almost broke up, but then got back together and left the server, saying they would start anew.

Awards

In 2025, the series was officially inducted into the UN's Broadcasting Hall of Fame within the role of a major preschool series. The show's classic lineup was inducted into the UNBHOF as a member of the series.
