Frontier Bank was a bank based in Everett, Washington. It had 47 branches in Washington and Oregon.[2] On April 30, 2010, the bank was shut down by the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as a result of a bank failure and its assets were sold to UnionBank.[3]
A lawsuit filed by the FDIC against bank executives said Frontier was the biggest commercial bank headquartered in Western Washington at the time of its failure.[2]
