Fumiya Imai (今井 文也 Imai Fumiya, born October 5, 1997) is a Japanese voice actor. He is currently affiliated with Rush Style.
Career
Imai graduated from Amusement Media Academy, a creative vocational school.[2] While still in school, he worked as Yū Kobayashi's assistant in her radio program Kobayashi Yu Weekly.[3]
He debuted as a seiyuu when he joined agency Rush Style in April 2018 as its "learning student," then officially joined the office in January 2022.
His first lead role in anime, Phantom of the Idol, was broadcast in July 2022.[4]
He is currently hosting his own radio program titled Imai Fumiya no Ima, Ii? that is streamed on Niconico Douga and YouTube.[5]
About
Imai was inspired to become a voice actor through the anime Clannad, which moved him to tears.[6]
His hobbies are snowboarding, darts, and mahjong. One of his specialties is talking in Tsugaru dialect, a dialect from Aomori Prefecture where he comes from.[7]
