Future Punk

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Future Punk, /ˈfyo͞oCHər/ /pəNGk/ is a crossover genre of music characterized by its usage of key musical and stylistic elements from Pop Punk and Emo from the early 2000's, as well as electronic genres such as Dubstep (Melodic Dubstep), Future Bass, Riddim, Vaporwave and Synthwave.

Created by Darrick Atwater (Agent Method) during the summer of 2021[1], Future Punk is in part a revivalist genre of music aimed at preserving the ideals from venerable genres like Rock, while employing more modern concepts in sound design, song structure, and visual aesthetic.
