Future Veneto
Future Veneto (Veneto Futuro, VF) was a short-lived Venetist political party active in Veneto.
In 1999 Giuseppe Ceccato, national president of Liga Veneta and senator, was expelled from Lega Nord (the federal party of which Liga Veneta is the "national" section in Veneto).[1] Shortly after he launched VF as Venetian section of the Autonomists for Europe, an unsuccessful effort to challenge Lega Nord as main regionalist party in Northern Italy.[2][3] The party was integrated into Liga Veneta Repubblica/Veneti d'Europa for the 2000 regional election (2.4% and no regional councillors elected) and then ceased to exist as an independent political force.
