Gürkan Çetinkaya (born December 4, 1987) is a Turkish ice hockey player. The 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in) tall defenceman at 78 kg (172 lb) shoots left-handed.[1] Currently, he plays in the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League for Izmir BB GSK and is a member of the Turkey men's national ice hockey team. He was educated at the Kocaeli University.[2]

He played for Kocaeli BB Kağıtspor,[3][4] before he transferred to Izmir BB GSK in December 2012.[1]
International[edit]
Çetinkaya participated at the 2011 Winter Universiade held in Erzurum.[2] He was part of the national team at the 2012 IIHF World Championship Division III played in Erzurum, Turkey, which finished the tournament at top and advanced to the Division II. He scored one goal in the match against Mongolia.[5][6] HÇetinkaya played at the 2013 IIHF World Championship Division II B Tournament held in İzmit, Turkey and netted a goal against Israel.[7] He takes part at the 2014 IIHF World Championship Division II Group B Tournament matches in Jaca, Spain.[8]
