GLOBAL

GLOBAL[1][2] was a programming language developed in an industry and sold off privately as an expert system. It was used to design several biopharmaceutical products, and was sold to Tularik (Amgen).
Prometheus used for drug system design was written using GLOBAL and is described on this Cray software specification.
