Goat USA (stylized as GOAT USA) is a brand name for clothing in the United States. The brand markets hats, sweatshirts, shirts, shorts, joggers, swimwear, socks, and accessories for men, women, and children. The brand's main logo is a Carolina blue goat, whose name is Chuck.[1]

History

The Goat USA brand was founded in 2016 by Dylan McLaughlin, Rich Alfaro, and T.J. Cristina, who began selling their apparel at a lacrosse tournament on Long Island, New York.[2] The brand was originally based in Alfaro's grandfather's basement, before moving to a new headquarters on Long Island.[3] In 2018, Goat USA signed a two-year deal to become the title sponsor of the Summer Rumble, a lacrosse tournament, in Richmond, Virginia.[4]

In December 2019, Dick's Sporting Goods began to carry GOAT USA products in 300 of their stores. [5] Currently, GOAT USA has opened four retail stores at the Roosevelt Field Mall, Garden State Plaza, Tanger Outlets Riverhead, and the King of Prussia Mall.
