GROUND is a magazine and art editorial house founded by artist Ismael Ogando in 2015 in the city of Berlin.

GROUND was founded by Ismael Ogando in 2015 as an online editorial platform for journalism centred in aesthetics as a channel for social criticism. Published 3 times between 2015 and 2016, GROUND edited issues emerging from the current socio-political climate of the period, curated in different languages and developed for criticism, the magazine format of the project fostered intercultural narratives taking on heated debates affecting the region, i.e. the Aleppo hoax, the European refugees crisis, the Humboldt Forum and the ethnological collections of Germany and the Herero genocide, the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, among others.

The magazine was distributed via newsletter subscription and is still available for free.[1]
