Ramakrishnan Gurumoorthy (born 8 June 1981), professionally known as Babu Ramakrishnan G, is an Indian businessman, entrepreneur, investor, and social worker. He is the founder and owner of Fortune Five General Trading LLC and Triple M Production and Distribution LLC, and serves as Managing Director at Master Foods Wholesale Trading WLL and Global Investments. With over 25 years of experience, he is recognized for his contribution to international trade and community development.
Early life and education
Ramakrishnan was born on 8 June 1981 in Kurukkathi, Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, India, to R. Gurumoorthy and G. Sathiya Bama. He completed his schooling in Kilvelur, Nagapattinam. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bharathidasan University and later completed an MBA from Alagappa University.
Career
After completing his education, Ramakrishnan began working with a Cash & Carry distribution company in the United Arab Emirates, gaining experience in logistics, procurement, finance, and international trade.
In 2015, he founded Fortune Five General Trading LLC in Dubai, specializing in frozen and dry food distribution. He later became the Managing Director of Master Foods Wholesale Trading WLL in Doha, Qatar, expanding the company’s distribution network in the Middle East.
In 2017, he became a business partner at 4D Trade Link Pvt Ltd in Singapore, focusing on international trade of sunflower oil and palm oil. He also serves as Managing Director of Global Investments in India, with interests in real estate, infrastructure, and media.
Driven by a passion for cinema, he founded Triple M Production and Distribution LLC to support Tamil-language filmmaking and distribution operations in India and the UAE.
