Gabb Drilon
Gabb (born March 15, 1984) is a Filipino actor.
Early life[edit]
Born as Gene Gabriel Drilon, he is a nephew of former Senator Franklin Drilon.
Showbusiness career[edit]
He is part of Star Magic. Introduced in ABS-CBN’s “Marina” as Carlitos, the love interest of Isabel, the character played by Pauleen Luna. He was then cast for the reality love-team, “Qpids” as the partner of Karel Marquez. He is also a main cast of the TV series “Crazy for You” and played the character Lee. Gabb was a marketing student at UP Visayas in Iloilo when writer Ronald Carballo saw him and asked him to come to Manila for a career in showbusiness. “I was so mahiyain before and showbiz helped me gain more confidence,” he says.
When his Star Magic contract expired, he didn't renew and is now managed by Manny Valera's DMV Entertainment. He has since appeared in “Captain Barbell” and “Magpakailanman” for GMA-7 and also appeared in the movies, “Gigil” and “Pacquiao”. He has won the grand prize in GMA-7's “All Star K.” In Boyz.Com, he is always assigned the high notes when they interpret a song. The group completely stopped performing together on 2008 and have then went on their different paths. Gabb is no longer active in showbiz but have been seen appearing on a couple of TV commercials.
