Gabe Fonseca (born November 6, 1980 in Iowa City, Iowa) is an American television writer, producer, and YouTube Creator. He has written and produced episodes of Jessica Jones, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, and House of the Dragon. In 2014 he created the YouTube channel Cereal Time[1] -- a web-series documenting and reviewing his large collection of breakfast cereals.[2][3][4][5]

Background[edit]

Fonseca was born in Iowa City, Iowa, to Marilyn and Raymond Fonseca. He has an older sister, Tiffany, and his brother-in-law is former American Major League Baseball outfielder, Doug Glanville. Fonseca is of Cape Verdean descent.

Fonseca grew up in Saline, Michigan and Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Sanford School in 1999, and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2002. In 2011, Fonseca was selected as a writer for The ABC-Disney Television Writing Fellowship.[6]
