Gabe Roth is the founder and executive director of Fix the Court, a judicial advocacy group based in New York City. He is a former communications consultant and served briefly as a spokesman for the New York Department of State.
Early life and education[edit]
Gabe Roth was born in Princeton, New Jersey. He and his family moved to Nashville when he was two years old.
Roth attended Washington University in St. Louis in May 2004 where he double-majored in political science and anthropology. After graduating, he attended the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and received his Master of Science in journalism in June 2006.[3]
Career[edit]
In 2006, Roth worked as a producer for First Coast News in Jacksonville.
He was a senior associate at the communications consulting firm The Glover Park Group from 2007 to 2009.
From 2009 to 2010, Roth served as the deputy spokesman for the New York Department of State and as a press officer for the New York State Executive Chamber.
After serving in New York's government, Roth returned to consulting in 2011 as the associate vice president for Rubenstein Associates. From 2012 to 2014, he was the vice president of SKDKnickerbocker.

In 2014, Roth collaborated with the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press to found the Coalition for Court Transparency, a single-issue group that advocated ending the Supreme Court's broadcast media ban.
Roth founded Fix the Court in 2014, where he currently serves as the executive director.
