Gail B. Nayowith

Gail B. Nayowith is an academician and adjunct professor at Columbia University School of Social Work.[1] She is a member of the Board of Health for the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene where she chairs the Community Services Board and she is the Interim Executive Director at Cities of Service.[2] She was a court appointed to the special master panel from 2003 until 2005 during the McCain Family homelessness lawsuit.[3] Nayowith has retired as the head of the Citizens’ Committee for Children of New York, Inc. (CCC).[4]

Nayowith is a 1981 graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work.[5][6]

She is a fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.[1]
