Galytix Analytics Pvt. Ltd. is a British fintech which specializes in creating an integrated data ecosystem for insurers and banks.[1][2][3]. Headquartered in London, United Kingdom, [4][5][6] the company specializes in performing analytics on data ingested intelligently, curated, and synthesized using machine learning techniques. The company serves global insurers, reinsurers and banks. It provides them with a robust front-to-back intelligent data analytics platform, helping them make smarter, faster and more informed decisions by understanding their data value chain.[7] The company also has offices in London, Prague, Gurgaon and plans to expand to Luxembourg. History
Galytix was founded by Raj Abrol and Jan Tlaskal in 2015.[10][11][12] The company has appointed Rupak Ghose as Chief Operating Officer (Ex-Group Head of Strategy- ICAP/NEX) [13] and Jeff Tilson as Chief Commercial Officer (Ex-Head SRI Research & Engagement Initiatives, Swiss Re Institute).[14] PwC, as a strategic partner to Galytix, is working together to transform the existing credit data model and entire credit process into one platform to enable clients with fast, reliable decisions.[15]
About Galytix Platform
The platform fetches data internally and externally from official sources or the wider sector; synchronize, process, and analyze it, depending on the source where the data is collected and provides a digestible data set with the necessary analysis already performed.[16][17] Galytix platform offers a comprehensive understanding of market behavior to decide which segments to target from the perspective of growth, helping clients with insights to optimize renewals, understanding agent's engagement and sales performance and increasingly important risk intelligence.[18] The company's platforms: Index and Quont use machine learning technology to ingest structured and unstructured data, comprehend and then exhibit the same in an end-to-end solution putting complete, granular, up to date information into the hands of the people that need it most.[19]
Funding and Advisors
Galytix raised the first round of funding in June 2021[20], followed by the company then raised a second round of funding from two Luxembourg investors in September 2021.[21] Massimo Arnoldi (Founder & CEO, Lifeware) and Marc Nourse (former Big4 partner & head of strategy at IAG) have joined the board as non-executive directors, while Keith O’Donnell (founding partner at ATOZ), Gaelle Olivier (CEO Société Générale, Asia-Pacific) and Ravi Venisetti (CTO at Chubb Limited) have joined the advisory board to complement the deep expertise of existing investors.[22][23] [24] Galytix was advised on the deal by PwC Luxembourg and leading technology lawyers Temple Bright.[25][26]
