Gamma Upsilon is a fraternity and sorority established in the Philippines in 1979. The fraternity is made up of men and women who build value among other members. This community organization promotes leadership, uplifts knowledge, and helps the community through community service such as feeding programs, haircuts, blood donation, cleanup drives, and others.
Gamma Upsilon Grand Friendship Fraternity and Sorority, believing in the brotherhood of men, "collectivist", promotes social justice, ensures equal protection of law, and maintains the well-being of Filipinos from all walks of life, especially the youth, do hereby unite as brothers under the guidance of the divine Providence to ordain and promulgate this Constitution.

History
On August 25, 1979, at 1 pm, the Gamma Upsilon Takoma was founded. This fraternity and sorority was founded by six founding lord masters: 6 founding lords of Gamma Upsilon: 1. Arnel Quisam - Lord Master 2. Eric Jacob - Twin Brother Master 3. Christopher Jacob 4. Gary Molilla 5. Dan Medalla 6. Louis Loterina with 2 Advisers: 1. Napoleon Buaquera – Ascolt Bonaparte 2. Condrado Batalla Jr.
The fraternity is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (Philippines) as a non-profit and non-dividend Corporation with the name Gamma Upsilon CN 200526550. Gamma Upsilon is an organization of high school youth whose main purpose is to spread the spirit of friendship. It was founded on 25 August 1979 at the Cagsawa Ruins, Daraga, Albay.

Declaration of principles
- The organization believes in the brotherhood of men; thus, peace and harmony shall be the basic tenet to be observed.
- It shall promote brotherhood that shall bring about friendship and unity.
- The collective efforts of all the members shall result in service to the community, ultimately aimed at contributing to the progress of the nation as a whole.
- The organization denounces all forms of violence against individuals, groups, and other organizations.
Aims and purposes
- Gamma Upsilon aims at molding the youth to the right human values referred to as the Ten Angels of the organization.
- It shall foster the spirit of brotherhood among its members, thereby fostering the brotherhood of all walks of life.
- It shall inculcate among its members the values of unity, friendship, and service to promote peace among brothers and fellowmen.
- Protect the youth from drug abuse and from all other forms of vices.
- It shall promote the value of respect and courtesy to elders and to authority.
