Ganesh Devkota (born on 17 July 2003), popularly known by GanEsh GD is a Nepali youtube personality from Mugu, Rara, Nepal..[1] He is known for being the youngest youtuber from Nepal to receive silver play button at the age of 15 [2]and is mainly involved in creating comedy videos and skits to various topics on his youtube channel GanEsh GD.


Ganesh was a schoolboy when he started posting tech videos on YouTube. Ganesh launched his internet career with his first youtube channel TechGanesh where he posted numerous technical videos primarily posting advice and reviews. Since he didn't receive positive feedback, he stopped posting videos on the particular channel.

Following that, he launched GD Vine, his next channel. He used to post comedic videos on GD Vine. One of the videos even got viral. The channel GD Vine got suspended only few days later due to some problem.

Thereafter, he launched his youtube channel GanEsH GD[3]

GanEsh GD[edit]

GanEsh GD is a youtube channel where comedic videos, skits, sitcoms and short movies are made on various topics. This channel was different than his last youtube channels. This is also his main youtube channel that has been active since 2017.

In 2019, with over 10 million views on YouTube, his video became viral which was titled "Nepali in Britain Got Talent"[4]. Following that, he uploaded 30 videos within 30 days and the channel had 100K subscribers. That ultimately made Ganesh to be the youngest youtuber from Nepal to receive a silver play button at the age of 15.[5]

The several characters which are featured in his videos are also played by Ganesh himself along with his team.
