Garden Affairs is a casual, narrative, and match-3 puzzle game developed by Judian Games![1] and released on Android and iOS devices in 2022[2]. It is the first match-3 game from Judian Games.
Story Background[edit]
The player takes on the role of a new owner who has just inherited a manor. With the help of a childhood friend, an interior designer named Alice, the player begins a journey to renovate this grand but dilapidated manor. Together with Alice, Joey, and a host of other friends, the player unveils the hidden secrets of the manor, explores the nameless island, excavates buried treasure, and more[3]
Gameplay[edit]
At the start of the game, the player is guided through a tutorial, learning how to obtain stars by playing match-3 levels. Players then use these stars to remove trash, replace broken tiles, and renovate the manor.
During match-3 levels, players generate boosters by combining elements in groups of more than three[4]. These boosters, in addition to standard triple-match gameplay, are used to achieve each level's required objectives, thus gaining more stars for home decoration. As stars are accumulated and used, players will unlock more areas to explore and renovate.
In addition to match-3 levels, Garden Affairs includes a variety of minigames, including merge gameplay, farming simulation, and others.
