Garrett Sutton is an American corporate lawyer and best-selling author. He is the founder of Corporate Direct and Sutton Law Center. Sutton is best known for his wealth-building book series.[1][2]
Sutton has been recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Member by America’s Top 100 Attorneys.
Early Life and Education[edit]
Sutton attended Colorado College and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1975. He earned his J.D. in 1978 from Hastings College of Law, the University of California’s law school in San Francisco.
Career[edit]
Sutton practiced business law in California and Washington, D.C. In 1988, he founded Corporate Direct Inc., a legal services firm aiding entrepreneurs with asset protection and corporate formation services. In 1993, he established Sutton Law Center in Reno, NV.[3]
Sutton has sold over 1 million print, audio, and ebooks globally and contributed to multiple international magazines. He has served on the Publication Committee of the State Bar of Nevada.[4]
Sutton lectures for small business groups and is part of Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Advisors team.[5] He serves on the boards of The American Baseball Foundation, The Nevada Museum of Art, and the Sierra Kids Foundation. He is a licensed attorney and a member of the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of California, and the American Bar Association.
