Garrett Sutton is an American corporate lawyer and best-selling author. He is the founder of Corporate Direct and Sutton Law Center. Sutton is best known for his wealth-building book series.[1][2]
Sutton has been recognized as a Lifetime Achievement Member by America’s Top 100 Attorneys.
Early life and education[edit]
Sutton attended Colorado College and completed his graduation from the University of California, Berkeley, where he acquired a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1975. He graduated with a J.D. in 1978 from Hastings College of Law, the University of California’s law school in San Francisco.
Career[edit]
Sutton practiced business law in California and Washington, D.C. in 1988 when he founded Corporate Direct Inc., a legal services firm known for helping entrepreneurs and offering asset protection and corporate formation services. In 1993, when he established Sutton Law Center, a law firm based in Reno, NV.[3][4][5]
Sutton is also the best-selling author and has sold over 1 million print, audio and ebooks globally. He has also contributed articles for multiple international magazines and has served on the Publication Committee of the State Bar of Nevada.[6]
Sutton also serves as a lecturer for several small business groups as well as for Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Advisors team.[7][8] Sutton also serves on the boards of The American Baseball Foundation, The Nevada Museum of Art, and the Sierra Kids Foundation. He is a licensed attorney and a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the State Bar of California, and the American Bar Association. He is a member of the Rich Dad Advisors elite club.[9][10]
