Garrick Wayne Cooper is a New Zealand academic, are Māori, of Ngāti Karaua and Te Pirirākau descent and as of 2021 is a senior lecturer at the University of Canterbury.[1]

Academic career[edit]

After a undergraduate at the University of Auckland, Cooper moved to the University of Canterbury, rising to senior lecturer.[1]

Cooper is involved in the Tertiary Education Union.[2]
