Gary Pearl

Gary Pearl is an American producer, investor, entrepreneur, and CEO of Aquarius Content. His career has focused on taking on social issues and depicting them for audiences with an eye toward inspiring social change and conversation. He is best known for producing Jane the Virgin, 10.5, J.T. Leroy, and the upcoming film series based on the classic novel series, Flowers in the Attic. He is also working with Ava DuVurnay on a TV adaptation of Octavia Butler's book, Dawn.[1]

In addition to promoting social issues on the big and small screen, Pearl is known for his knowledge of entertainment financing and content library valuation.

Pearl was born and raised in Tarzana, Los Angeles. He earned a degree in economics from UCLA. Before becoming a producer, he worked as a talent agent for William Morris.
