Gauthier Ganaye

French-born Gauthier Ganaye is the first French CEO of a British football club. He joined Barnsley FC as CEO on 09 June 2017, and at 29 years old he became the youngest CEO of a British football club.

Ganaye held previous roles as Head of Legal and Secretary General of French side Racing Club de Lens, before making the move across the channel.

During his time as CEO at Barnsley FC, he has made national headlines, writing a letter to Reds fan Chris Ryder offering his support during a difficult time and including details of Mind charity, the EFL's partner. He was also one of the first CEOs to give away free sanitary products to female visitors in August 2018.
