Gavin Harrison is a classical and chiptune composer for Film, TV, and Video Games. [1] He has composed the music for several video games, including Halfway and the upcoming title Pathway for their developer, Robotality. [2][3] He has also composed music for TV and films, including for BBC, Sky, Animal Planet, and Discovery.[1]

He lives in Suffolk, England.

Harrison was introduced to music with the SoundTracker Pro on Spectrum.[4][5] As a teenager, he was in a death metal band called Sacrafix.[4] His first game music was composed in chiptune for Orange Pixel using a ZX Spectrum and SoundTracker.[4]

His musical inspirations include Telefon Tel Aviv and the soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, by Minako Hamano, Kozue Ishikawa, Kazumi Totaka;[4][5] He taught himself how to write music using Jean Michele Jarre song books.[5]
