Career[edit]

San made her professional debut as a warmup DJ at the Top Ten Club in 1988 for bands such as Kool and the Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire and the Commodores.[1] After leaving Singapore in 1993, she pursued her DJ career in London, where she spunned at record company parties, various one-off guest spots and fashion shows. She has been resident DJ at numerous world-renowned clubs such as Reach for the Sky, Final Frontier, and Omen.

In 2000, she was voted number 6. of the most popular international DJs in Germany in the Groove Magazine.[citation needed]

In 2011, Gayle started her own new label "GSR" (Gayle San Recordings). The first kick off release was a compilation featuring tracks from Tony Rohr, Ken Ishii, Cristian Varela, Go Hiyama, Mark Morris, A.Paul, Virgil Enzinger and of course two of her own productions on the compilation.
