Adegboyega Oyetola Isiaka [1] is the Chief of Staff to the executive governor of Osun State Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. He was the Executive Vice Chairman of Paragon Group of Companies with key interests in Oil and Gas, Real Estate, Stock Broking etc. until we was appointed as the Chief of Staff to the Governor of the State of Osun, Rauf Aregbesola. 

Early life[edit]

'Gboyega Oyetola was born on September 29, 1954, in Iragbiji, in Boripe Local Government Area of the State of Osun.[2]

Education[edit]

He attended Ifeoluwa Grammar School in Osogbo for his secondary school education which he completed in 1972. He proceeded to the University of Lagos where he received a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Insurance in 1978. He acquired his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1990 at the same University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.

Career[edit]

Gboyega started his career in the corporate ladder of the insurance by joining Leadway Assurance Company Limited as Area Manager in 1980, and worked there till 1987 after which he proceed to Crusader Insurance Company Limited as Underwriting Manager between 1987 and 1990. In 1990 Gboyega joined Alliance and General Insurance as Technical Controller and served in that capacity until 1991.

In 1991, Gboyega left Alliance and General Insurance establish Silvertrust Insurance Brokers Limited. He was Managing Director since its founding until his appointment as Chief of Staff in 2011.[3]

Political Career[edit]

Adegboyega Oyetola when he was appointed at the Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Osun State Rauf Aregbesola, however, before Gboyega joined Osun State politics after his years of experience in the financial sector, he was a founding member of Alliance for Democracy (AD) and has been a chieftain of the party through its metamorphosis to Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and now All Progressives Congress (APC). He has assisted the party nationally, particularly in the State of Osun.[4]
