Gen Mohammad Jurat[edit]

Biography:[edit]

Deen Muhammad Jurat, the son of Bismillah Jarat, was born in 1342 (H) in the center of Panchshir province in a pious family.[edit]
General Jarat continued his primary school course in Samangan and Jawzjan provinces due to his father's mission as the vice president of Marafeh and continued his secondary school course at Rakheh High School in Panchshir Province, then joined Imam Abu Hanifa High School (RA).[edit]
With the coup d'etat of Haft Thor, Qazi Bismillah Jarat, the deputy of the governor of Kandahar province, was arrested by the former regime, Wadin Muhammad Jarat, went to Panchshir and started an armed jihad alongside Ahmad Shah Massoud.[edit]
In 1358, after the defeat of the Panchshir Rebellion, General Jarat was arrested by the agents of the communist government and transferred to Polcharkhi prison.  With the occupation of Afghanistan by the Russians and the announcement of a general amnesty by the puppet regime, he was released from prison and once again started an armed jihad against the Soviets.[edit]
In 1363, Qazi Bismillah Jarat, father of Din Mohammad Jarat, along with seven of his colleagues were executed and martyred in Charkhi prison.  After the martyrdom of his father, Din Mohammad Jarat went to Peshawar in 1365 to take care of his family and was engaged in the education department.[edit]
